Core Beliefs
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired and infallible Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit to guide us in faith and life. We believe in one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is fully divine, the Word made flesh and one with the Father. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son and is actively present, teaching, guiding, empowering, and leading believers today.
We believe salvation is the free gift of God, made available by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His shed blood. Salvation is received by believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. We practice water baptism by immersion for believers as an outward expression of new life in Christ. We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, empowering believers to live victorious and effective Christian lives. Sanctification is a definite yet ongoing work of grace, calling believers to live holy and surrendered lives unto God.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship, serve and advance God's kingdom. We observe the Lord's Supper as a sacred ordinance, believe in the laying on of hands for blessing, healing, and ministry, and affirm that God calls both men and women into ministry. We believe in faithful stewardship through tithes and offerings, joyful service through the ministry of help, and living daily under the leading of the Holy Spirit. We also believe in the rapture of the Church, eternal life for the saved, and eternal separation from God for those who reject Christ. Our desire is to live fully surrendered lives, led by the Spirit of God, bringing glory to Him in all things.
