With a powerful yet compassionate approach to ministry, Pastor Johnson leads with both a shepherd’s heart and a bold, Spirit-led voice. He is deeply committed to equipping believers to walk in total surrender, operate in spiritual authority, and live with confident expectation in the promises of God. His preaching is rooted in biblical truth, enriched with practical application, and driven by a passion to see lives transformed. A native of Walterboro, South Carolina, Pastor Johnson is a proud graduate of Walterboro High School’s Class of 1997. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education from Rhema Bible College. His ministry extends beyond the pulpit, reflecting a heart for service, mentorship, and community development.
Pastor Johnson leads with joy, optimism, and unwavering faith. His life and ministry are grounded in the promise of Romans 8:28:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Above all, Pastor Johnson is a devoted husband and father. He is married to his beloved wife, Celia, and together they reside in Summerville, South Carolina, with their three wonderful children: Shon II, Londyn, and Holland.

First Lady Celia T. Johnson serves faithfully as the Worship Leader and Women’s Supervisor of New Season, New Day Ministries, where she leads with excellence, grace, and a genuine heart for God’s people. She is passionate about cultivating an atmosphere where God’s presence is welcomed and experienced, and she is dedicated to helping others understand the power of worship as both a ministry of praise and a form of spiritual warfare.
In her role as Women’s Supervisor, First Lady Johnson provides guidance, encouragement, and mentorship to the women of the ministry. She is committed to empowering women to grow in their faith, walk confidently in their purpose, and develop as strong spiritual leaders in their homes, church, and community.
A gifted educator and leader, Celia is a higher education administrator, former public-school music teacher, and private vocal coach. She holds credentials in Performing Arts Education with a concentration in Choral Music, as well as credentials in Music and Business Administration. With more than 25 years of experience as a vocal performer and choral director, she brings a unique blend of excellence, discipline, and spiritual insight to her leadership.
First Lady Johnson is the devoted wife of Pastor Shon R. Johnson, Sr., and a loving mother to their three wonderful children. She values family deeply and cherishes time spent traveling together, researching music artifacts, and exploring new dining experiences.
Her heart’s desire is that through worship, lives are transformed, burdens are lifted, and people are drawn into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God.
